Web Link Technologies

The Web Link technologies offered by Sony DADC connect your disc with your server or web site. This can reach from simple opening a predefined website up to a customised two-way communication between your disc application and the server. A special feature is that the Web Link technologies can transmit the PID to the server and for example get address data matching to the PID from the server.

Secure Web Link

Secure Web Link is a special Web Link technology. When a n-CD disc is placed in the disc drive, this innovative solution checks the disc to verify that it is an original. If the authentication is successful, your computer connects with the predefined web site containing special bonus features. Copied discs will fail to enter the secured area. In this case a different web site will be displayed.
